Hi, I’m Mel and I’m passionate about one on one teaching and being a part of many children’s learning journey. I have been a teacher for 23 years and a tutor for the past 3 years. I have taught students in a range of subject areas from Reception to Year 11, including English, Maths, PE, Health and Italian. I have been living in the Adelaide Hills for the past 6 years and I lived and worked as a teacher in the Limestone Coast region of SA for 14 years. I am a member of Speld SA and I have the appropriate tutors insurance. I have recently attended a SPELD course in working with students with learning difficulties.

If your child is disengaged-student or lacks confidence in the classroom, I can help them fulfill their potential. I also work with students who need to be challenged ‘beyond their years’.

I am married and have 3 teenage children and I am an Independent Schools AFL football umpire during Winter and I play for a local suburban cricket club during the Summer. I am also an active runner and I have completed 3 full marathons in the past 3 years.

Pathway Tutoring is only available within a 10km radius of Belair, South Australia.

Hourly rate for one off sessions when available is $80 per hour.

Book in weekly sessions at $75 per hour for a personalised learning programme for your child.
